RIP LouAnn

Updated: Aug 9

We got 4 new chicks and homed them in their own stall away from the adult chickens. We thought they would like their space to hang out and "chill" together. Just like tween chickens like to do. We went out the other morning, and my chick, LouAnn, was missing. No sign of foul play, no letter, no nothin'. Only heartbreak. I am serious! I am getting too attached to these animals.

We have relocated the other 3 chicks to a high-security lockdown facility within the chicken coop. There is no getting in or out without our help. I think our next move is to LoJack our chickens.
